Hey putz I need some of that stuff. Where do I get it? My zetec gets right on the verge of being in the HOT level fairly often, mainly when I'm trying to get somewhere fast in the city. Do you just add the water wetter to the coolant resorvoir? I might get me some of dat.

"Wow, that sank fast." "Yeah, like a rock."

My old engine ran with the needle between the r and m, but my new engine now runs with the needle just barely touching the "n" in normal. Sometimes it doesn't even get to that. I do know that it only gets about 22mpg running cooler with the 0-30 mobile 1 tri-synthetic. Before the new oil, it ran between the o and r in normal, and got 28mpg. But hey, after spending $3100 for the engine replacement, I can live with lower mpg.

The temp gauge on the dash is terribly imprecise from car to car. To really know what your Coolant Temp is, you need an OBD-II scanner. The ECT sensor is much better calibrated (since it alone feeds info to the PCM, where a seperate temp sensor alone feeds the dash). You really can't compare my dash gauge to your dash gauge to his dash gauge and get any useful info.
