hey wuts up all
i have a 95 lx and i was wondering how hard it would be to convert the front end (fenders, bumper, lights, grill, hood, ect) to the 98+ look. also if i can do this would it mean i could use front bumpers designed for the 98+.. i dont see why it wouldnt but and feedback is welcome..

also bare with me just got my 'tour bout month ago.. $500 with bout 70k on it so very good deal

thanx in advance

Nick

The only way that it would be possible that I know of is if you also replace the whole inner structure. The inner structure is the part that the fenders, bumpers and headlamps bolt to. I was going to do this to my car since the front end was wrecked, but the only problem that I noticed was that, if you change out the inner structure for the fender, headlamps and bumper you will also need to change out the engine craddle since the two craddles are not the same between the pre 98 and post 98 neither. So in other words unless you have alot of time and money on your hands I would not recommend this conversion.

Here is a g/b that I am doing for pre 98 cars.....The price is only $750 for everything. I can also piece it out. http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/showflat.php?Cat=&Board=groupbuy&Number=328242&page=0&view=collapsed&sb=5&o=7&fpart=6&vc=1

Consider the alternative...

I think it would be a lot easier to buy a 98+ and fit the pre-98 trunklid. A LOT less expensive.

Unless of course you're looking for bragging rights. More power to ya. No offense though, I see this as one of those pointless mods to put time into.
