All right, so I finish the passenger side brake pad change, after doing the drivers side. Well, when I was doing the compression of the caliper piston, I had unscrewed the top of the brake fluid resevoir, but when I went to pump the brakes to seat the pads in the caliper onto the rotor, I forgot to retighten the tank's cap, essentially spilling brake fluid out of the top, down the brake booster, and onto the items below. Now what could I have possibly messed up in the process. Is the brake fluid in the SVT corrosive to plastic (because I know its corrosive to paint)? If so, how should I get it off (as I did use a de-greaser, and then flush with water, and wipe off places where I could get to)? Is there now air in my lines, or the tank, and I now need to bleed. It has been a while since I have done brakes, and I just don't want anything to be messed up. Anybody have any ideas?
