Do not take your car to this dealership!!!! My car has been there almost three weeks and still is not fixed. Everytime i call, the person who answers the phone has a lame excuse as to why my car is not done. First they tried to blame my mods (my response was"it's not warranty work, so just fix it"), next they asked if I reprogrammed the PCM (with what? a butter knife and some tin foil)and finally, i called about the car and they said, It is almost done, we are test driving it now. That was two days ago, with no callback or anything. I am writing this post just to let everyone with a Contour know not to take it to Lithia. They are total assclowns who know nothing about the Ford Contour. I will be sure to let the service manager, as well as FoMoCo know about the total ineptitude of this dealership!

I hear ya there. That place used to be HP Smith before. I bought a car from them and they tried to jack me over, and when I had a problem with it they pissed my time away with excusses. They got to have the same people that worked there before still there. I bought my svt down the street at a Dodge dealer and will never again step into the parking lot of Lithia. Jeff Coral. Yep, the car is finally done. They tried to blame every mod i put on the car. Their favorite line was "You just can't mod a v-6 and expect it to be reliable." Those assclowns will never see any more money from me!

I hear ya on that. I went in there once to see if they had any of those sill plates from the SVT Focus. They a) did not know what an SVT Focus was (they are an SVT dealer, of course) and b) could not find the sill plates for me, and c) insisted the sill plates he could not find would not fit on the SVT Contour. On top of all that, they treated me like an idiot for buying an SVT Contour in the first place.

The Ford dealerships in Lincoln are no better. Meginnis also didn't know what an SVT was and didn't know they ever made a Contour with a sunroof. And the thing that infuriated me the most about them was when I recently had my gas tank and filler hose repaired. The "service manager" from Meginnis told my warranty company that ALL the damage was caused by a part not covered under my warranty, therefore neither the service nor the parts were covered at all. He didn't necessarily need to include that all the damage was caused by the uncovered part. So I received no coverage even for parts that I should have been covered under. I wouldn't ask him to lie and potentially get his ass in trouble, but I would like him to be working for the customer and not the warranty companies.

I haven't had much of a problem with Anderson here. I usually go to QuickLane when I need something done. The worst they've done is let my car sit out in the hot sun after "washing" it and letting hard water spots form on my car, water spots that needed to be scrubbed out. But other than that, and their dumbass salespeople, I've had no problem with them.

I hate going to dealerships in the first place, and I will probably go to a more local place next time I need service done.

Just an update, i get the car back and it runs. Then i notice a check engine light and the radio does not work. Next, i notice the keyless entry fob does not work. So i take the car back again and they mess with it for about an hour(free of charge). I come out and "bang!" same problems as before. Now the car is in their possession once again. This time though, i hope it takes them three weeks to fix, because i am running up their rental car bill! Wow!, karma does exist!! How many days to run up an $800 rental car tab?

Tell them you going on vacation... to Alaska and you need you car fixed right or your taking the rental! I've found that if you can find a good mom & pop shop you'll be money ahead. They want to build a relationship with the customers so you keep coming back year after year. Stealerships couldn't care less.
