Anyone ever change the ignition switch on a 98+? My friend, after months of problems with the vehicle not charging found that by wiggling the key in the ignition, it starts charging again. Hence the need to replace. How diffacult is this? Is there a FAQ somewhere for it, I did a search which turned up nothing usefull.

The switch itself just screws onto the left side of the steering column. Very easy to replace.

The cylinder, OTOH, is something else.
