My 97 Duratec ATX has 147K on the original pump. Has anybody replaced theirs with a Bosch unit that's sold at PepBoys??? Any pro-con comments.

The NAPA unit is a DuraPro 125-1910 (it's actually the metal impellar GMB). They will get it for you the next day. It's around $50-55, and if you belong to AAA, show your card and get 7% off.

Thanx! I'll look at the one from NAPA. The Bosch unit lookied real sturdy, but it had a plastic impeller (real thick). Cost was about the same ($63). Maybe I've got "one of those in a million" cars with a decent water pump. Who knows.
