Hi All.

Can someone let me know what RON rating the unleaded fuel your contours run on (standard).

Our standard ULP is 91 octane (read: [censored]) so most cars are detuned.

Recently 98 oct has been introduced widely, so i'm thinking of having the EEC recalibrated to run on higher octane fuel?

Presumably this shouldn't be too hard as i think in UK they run on 95?

Thanks in advance

You may know this, but if not, in the US our octane listed on the pumps is (RON+MON)/2

So the numbers we get are the average of those two figures.

IIRC our "93" is pretty close to the 98 RON you mention.

But it is hard to pin down the exact relationship as fuels are formulated differently in different parts of the US, per EPA regulations.
