After battling water in the passenger side of the trunk for over 6 months, I have finally decided to remove the rear bumper and seal the passenger vent correctly. I tried to seal it from the inside, but I think I did a sloppy job because of the limited space to work in. Water is still coming in, but not as much. I had also discovered a leak in the antenna housing on the outside of the car which I fixed earlier this week. What luck! frown I printed the How To for bumper sag(which I do have as well, but not for long wink ), but I was just wondering if anyone had some tips or advice for me. I've heard you can remove the stuff in the vents to stop the buzzing in the trunk when playing subs. Should I do it? Thanks guys. I'm going to be sealing both sides as a preventative measure.

Are you sure your leak is around the vent or antenna? I tried sealing around the vent but the puddle still appeared. Turned out to be the taillight. I took it out, cleaned the "mud" off the gasket, put it back together with some added goop and it's held pretty well.

I had to seal the taillight and the vent. It isn't that hard to do while the bumper is in place. I pulled the vent out into the bumper and and used household silicone sealant to seal it. I just had to get my wife to hold the vent while I put silicone on the bottom of the vent. Then I just put a whole lot of silicone around the vent after I installed it.
