my car is making a grinding noise sorta when i turn to the one side or press on my brakes hard...my brakes are still good and stuff but when i looked at my rotors my drivers side was perfect and the passenger side had lines all the way around the outside like something was grinding it..any idea what it might be?

sounds like metal to metal to me... why not just take off the wheel, caliper and give it a look.. the tell tale part of this is the rotor with marks of grinding on it.. before you take it off, why not just get two new rotors, auto zone
for $25.00 each and go to dealer or someplace else and get some decent pads and a tube of high temp. brake lube for the pins.. and two cans of brake cleaner and change the rotors and pads.. give them a good leaning and put the new stuff on.. oh, you might want to get a spray can of anti brake squeel for the back of the new pads...
hope this helps.

If you havenā??t changed pads before you should find someone that has and work with them. It is not a complicated job but you have to know what you are looking at so you know what needs to be fixed. If you have more the 60K miles you should consider Caliber replacement. I have never owned a Ford that didnā??t need new calibers before 75kmi (Myst included).

Also, a full break fluid flush (all four wheels) and change is always a good thing and is a must if you are changing any hydraulic components.

have you fixed your ford lately?
