I am new to these forums and I own a 98 Ford Contour SE. We have two problems since we bought the car. The headlights are fogged up and I was wondering is there anyway to clean them. Also our trunk leaks after every bad rain storm...

Even so this car needs a little work but it is very peppy for 4 cylinder, meaning this is a keeper, I will also post some pictures after I clean it up a bit...

Do you have a spoiler? My spoiler was loose and it allowed a bit of water in the trunk.

Anyone else ever have problems with the trunk and does anyone have any tips for greenish headlights, besides covers?

Have any ideas for the headlights? There getting a little green and I don't know if this is on the inside or on the outside.. When I originally bought the car the headlights were very off center meaning the lights stunk until I adjusted them which really helped but I didn't find anyway to take them apart or clean them.

For your headlights, if they are like mine were, you can get them like new with a plastic polish, such as Meguiar's PlastX. It's like a creme, but it contains a very mild abrasive. It works like a charm, and it really makes a difference.

You could also use sandpaper with very fine grit, like 1500-2000 (used with water), and finish it with jeweler's rouge, like mentioned in the other threads mentioned above..
