Okay.. I spoke to some shop people/ Ford engineers/other Ford employees/etc. (lots of people, that is) and they all agree... Call Ford and raise hell about my clutch AND my warranty being gone before the car was ever sold to a private party.
Ford owned my SVT Contour and used it as a test vehicle, basically grinding the front tires down to a rubber band-like consistency, turning the clutch to jelly and breaking a perfectly good transaxle mount insert.
Do any of you think anything will come of this? Anyone ever heard of a similar problem? What do you all think I should do to deal with this? The car as of now is undriveable and a clutch will cost me about $900 altogether to replace... money I don't really have right now.
.RMk..
