Hi guys!
As i posted two weeks ago my diff died and i decided to get Ford to install a Quaife instead of the OEM peice of junk!

Everything was going great: they got the Quaife, appropriate speedo gear, carrier bearings......but the diff doesn't fit properly in the case!?

I have read that it may need some machining to get it to work....

Can someone please tell me exactly what i should tell Ford to do to make this work....

Thanks guys! I always appreciate your help!

Matt

needs to be machined by a transmission shop. IIRC its about a 50% chance that the Quaife will fit right in there. If it doesn't it needs to be machined.
