I'm getting new car fever myself. My 1995 Mystique LS V6 5-speed has been 9 years of fun, don't want to think about how much money I've spent on repairs and mods, but even though it has "only" 76,000 miles, time and regular use (many winters in VT) are taking it's toll on the look, feel, and freshness of the car. To get it back "as new" is starting to compete with the value of the car.
I drove a Mazda 6s (v6 5-speed) yesterday and I'm sold. It's just the question of timing, seeing if I can find any interest in my old car and finding (2003 vs. 2004?) one I want. There's only one 6s 5-spd in VT and it's black - and I'm not interested in trying to keep a black car clean up here... been there, done that!
My Mystique has been in the shop for several days while they've been trying to fix the ABS/TC, which may never work again

so while I was hoping to get one more winter out of my Mystique, it may be a treacherous one with the ice and snows in Vermont.
Yes, the Contique, out of production, will (sadly) become a dying breed, an interesting footnote in American automotive history, the performance car that "could have been" if the manufacturer knew how to build, price and market it...

See my car's page, in my sig, for the long version of my ranting

I have a feeling the "no more 'tour" posts are soon going to start outnumbering the "just got a tour!" ones.
