hey guys, my gf just got a 03 mustang and she wants me to put a system in it for me. she dosent want to replace her existing head using since she has the 6 disc changer. is there anyway to get around hooking up an amp and sub without putting in an aftermarket HU? any help would be great thanks.

Single line out put converter!!
there about 20 buck depending on where you get it and what brand. just tap into the rear speakers wires and then run your rca's make sure you get an adjustable SLOC also.

Well you need a Sub amp. but i think hes trying to tell you about a Line driver or something which just increases teh Voltage in your Preouts(RCA"S)... Umm Best buy has them. We use Install edge. Its 23 bucks of them. its adjustable. There really isn't one brand better than another all it is is wires and resistors soo kinda hard to mess that up. Im sure some company would though.
