Anybody replace the front bearings yourself at home?
I am possibly going to attempt this task next weekend and was wondering if it can be done with a bearing puller/press without taking the hub off the car, or if it needs to be removed?

Dont attempt it without a shop press or a 'Hub Taimer' set of pullers/adaptors, you will never get the old bearing out of the knuckle and can damage the new one going in without correct tools...

Thanks...I guess I will have to pull the knuckle off, a real pain in the arse!
My "Haynes" manual wasn't quite clear on this. It almost lead me to believe it could be done with ordinary tools.
