Three months ago my defective front springs were replaced by the dealer on my '98 E0.

Recently, I noticed extreme "cupping" on the inside edge of my front tires.

I took it to the dealer to check alignment. My camber was way off. They had to adjust my front sub-frame to get me back to specs.

Why did this happen?

ANY time a piece of suspension was worked on, you need another alignment. Even changing the bushings will need a new alignment (technically), PLUS alignment every 12K miles or so.

Just a plain jane '96 LX V-6 here...

Yeah, I know. But I was alittle surprised the subframe needed to be adjusted. There are supposedly no camber adjustments....if it was the front springs installation that put it out of alignment...why the need to adjust the subframe?
