Ok so instead of spending $140+shipping for the darn CTA intake I bought a focus intake off ebay. And guess what...IT WORKS! It's alot straighter the CTA too(less bends) thing is that I didnt use the air filter that came with the kit...i reused my KKM.
ok so here's the question. when I pulled off the old resonator off the top of the TB there was a little sensor, that looked like a match kinda, that I pulled out to remove the fugly resonator. I was stupid and didn't think of doing this first but I put a cover over the part where the hose runs from the intake tube to the valve cover. if I have time ill take pics and show you how it turned out.
so anyways I ended up having to drill a hole in the pip for this sensor...What is it?
