okay, just changed plugs & wires (autolite double plats & ford racing), and now have a cel. car has light stumble on acceleration, and just a tiny engine vibration. I think I've got the firing sequence right, all the numbers match up-'99 contour v-6 confused

need a bit more info on it. Like is the CEL blinking, constant, comes on at a certain MPH(KPH), etc.

Also, make sure the plugs are connected correctly on both ends. I had a misfiring problem and found that I didnt connect one of the wires all the way.

Just trying to help.

yep, good ol' #3 wire not on all the way. Sure felt like it was! Thanks for your help
