I just recently received my superchip back from KKM and once installed it did not raise the rev limiter to 7200. I just got off the phone with them and it turns out that I need to put the calibration screen back in between the MAF and the MAF adapter. He also told me that the adapters from Mirko and the one from KKM have a cut out for the screen to fit. I have the adapter from Duratecperformance.com. Has anyone successfully put the stock screen back in with that adapter? Hopefully I can figure something out because I don't want to spend any more money on another adapter. Info is appreciated.

How that is going to raise your rev limiter is a mystery to me. It seems as if they're just trying to buy some time with you, by telling you some BS to keep you off their back. With the screen missing the car should still run fine and if they did raise the rev limiter as you requested, it should be revving to 7200 rpm. I think you need to tell them to take the chip back and do it right!

I had the MAF adapter/intake from Sho-Shop, and am currently running the Duratechperformance MAF adapter with a K&N 3150. Ran both those set-ups with and w/out the screen. I felt zero gains/loss and no driveability issues between the 2 set-ups with or w/out the screen.

Andrew, Do you have the SFG-2? The Fordchips guys were unable to raise my fuel cut/redline (they COULD just remove it which I did for a bit but felt it was unsafe and went back to stock).
Please let me know if KKM has any luck (or anyone else with SFG-2)..

Yes, my code is SFG2. Other members on this bored have told me that code worked very well with the SVT's. Now to explain what I was told by KKM. I believe it was Warren that told me that the MAF readings are based on voltage. Without the screen the computer misreades the airflow and won't break the the stock rev limiter(6750 I believe) (Also I am no expert in this field so If this doesn't sound right it could be my fault) He also told me that he ran my actual chip on his contour with the stock intake setup and it reved to 7200. He then said that the better MAF Adapters(Mirko, KKM) have a cut out for the screen to fit. After I get out of work tonight I plan on diconnecting the battery and resetting the computer(I did it yesterday, but I don't think I left it off long enough)and seeing what the results are. Any suggestions/comments about fitting the screen to the duratecperformance MAF Adpater would be appreicated. Sorry for the long post.

Well, when I used my screen..I removed the rubber gasket on it (can't remember why..but I did) then sealed it with O2 sensor safe silicone. Very important....to keep your sensors reading properly.

i dunno, that sounds odd. I have had my screen out ever since I owned the car and I redline at 7600rpm.

The screen issue... First I know several SVTs with bumped redlines that lack the screen.. Second, I talked with Warren years ago about the screen (I have a KKM adapter and it has no provision for screen, though you can buy a gasket) At that time he specifically said it was calibrated/shaped so as NOT to require screen. Why he is say different now is beyond me??
Third..if you are using a 75mm MAF you will LOSE power with the screen because it creates an airflow lip being slightly smaller than MAF opening. I know...I showed it on dyno. Other thing is this..you can dyno tune your chip/ECU with screen in place and it will be out of wack A/F wise when you remove screen and make no other changes. So, do not add or remove screen after dyno tuning your car. It may not lose power with stock MAF but I recommend no screen with the Pro-M.

Bwahahaha...
Wow that is downright hilarious.
I better go find my MAF screen and put it back in so my chip can raise my redline higher...
You do know they DO NOT do custom chips. All they do is burn the latest generic chip code.
If Superchips has not raised the limiter in the program for said code, it's not raised. Simple as that.
If you want it raised that's multiple hundred dollars of custom tuning according to STUPORCHIPS!!!
Yes it's just a couple keystrokes (IF they can find it), but they'll gladly rip you off for it...
A good chip is 100% tuner...
Generic chips are hit or miss at best and in the end you'll need it custom tuned anyway. Can't get that CHEAPLY (or onsite even!) from Stuporchips either!!!

The SHO adaptor (on my SVT) is larger than the duratec (on my SE) I swapped them and believe that the SVT runs better with the larger adaptor.
