So this past weekend some of my friends and I went to drive from Ohio to Canada, but we found out that the headlights didnt work in the 96 contour we were going to drive up. I looked through all the posts last night, and found out that this isn't an uncommon problem. I tried to fix it, and replace the switch because all information pointed to a fautly switch, but after putting in a new switch...nothing changed. All the other lights worked as before, but the headlight low beams, and high beams both do not work. We had to drive to Canada in the dark with only parking lights. We managed to jump the lights manually by removing the relay and just jumping it directly to get home, but I really do not want to have to open my hood and my fuse box every time i want to turn my headlights on and off. Anyone who has been able to fix this problem, or anything like it I would greatly appreciate your advice.
