I will soon be getting a new set of 4 to replace my KDW's, which have about 22k on them - can see the wear bars, and the tread at the edges of the tires is getting pretty shallow.

Just wondering if anyone has experienced the Goodyear F1 GS-D3's yet. It's either those, or a new set of KDW's.

Or, anything else that I should be looking at? For the record, I don't participate in any autocross events.

Feedback & opinions are welcome. Thanks!

I just bought some continental contiextremes. They arent exactly what you are looking for (they are all season) but they are pretty quiet, good wet, dry, and appearantly (Ill find out this winter) they are good in the snow (again, I know you dont care). They are pretty sticky, but I havent pushed them to their limits yet. They are also very cheap. From tirerack.com, I paid IIRC, ~$75 per tire. I didnt see any other tires that offered their perfomance for that price.

Anyway, read the reviews on tirerack.com. They are very helpful. . .

I posted that in this thread a couple of weeks ago. . .

Like I said, I am very very happy with these tires. Great wet and dry performance and they are cheap too. If you check out tirerack.com you will see that they have great reviews there too. . . .

I installed recently the Firehawk SZ50 EP (225-50-16). Quieter and more comfy than the original g-force KDWs and performance wise, I can't see the difference. They also look better (pic in my sig.).

I should have noted one other thing in my original post. I have a dedicated set of winter tires (BFG Winter Slaloms), so I'm really looking for a summer-only tire. (Well, from mid-April to mid-November, at least.)
