Any octane booster in a car will only raise your octane a few tenths of a point.
From say 92 octane to 92.3 octane.
Its all pretty much a gimmick.

Yup, they aren't worth the money.

This is just my opinion, but I've been a big fan of additives for some time (provided they work) and the only one's that work will completely trash the cats and the O2 sensors on our cars because of the chemicals inherent in it's manufacture- check this brief link out....

Myself, i use Redline injector cleaner and Lucas oil upper cylinder lubricant. Many other products do work(injector cleaners), but at the cost of not lubricating the injectors. The two aforementioned products are the most complete formulations, and they REALLY DO WORK (from my highly scientific -"seat of the pants" testing and checking mileage from tank to tank over the course of ten or so years).

Unless you have made some serious changes such as boost/nitrous/ high compression, etc then you dont need more than 93 octane. Too much octane will actually slow you down if you dont need it.

Best gas I can get here in Hellville USA is 89 octane and it sucks ass. I grab a nottle of octane boost or injector cleaner every 3 or 4 tanks or so and I get a noticeable difference in my car's performance with these products.

I have never used any of the octane additives. If you are looking for higher octane, try this. There are several gas stations in Michigan that have it at the pump.
