ok so i have a JVC cd stereo and lately the thing is screwin up bad. I'll be listening to a cd and all of the sudden the cd will stop and makes a noise like someone is scratching a blackboard. Then it will come back on 10-30 sec later. I thought it might be just the cd, but if i switch from cd to radio when it cuts out, the radio doesnt work either (it makes this high pitched noise). It seems like the stereo loses power for a sec or something. Maybe the connections are loose? Any ideas? Thanks

I've had this problem before. You are grounding out on the chassis of you car. Some wire or connection is touching your car, maybe when you turn a certain direction or hit a bump.
