Bassani made same power gains as Brullen...on mild moderately modded 2.5L. With 3L, FI, maybe heavy 2.5L mod etc...2.5" better. Downside to Brullen is fitment issues that a number on GB reported. Did that get resolved?

If you go with bassani get the magnaflow resonator. No rasp at all.

Actually Dan, I think my car was the only one (from what I can tell) that didn't have major fitment issues from the GB. Then again, I had the only 2000 "loud" system ordered....I think(the 98, some 99's have different bends due to the gas tank placement). Alex and SVTCuervo were very easy to deal with, so I would have no issues ordering from them in the future. Plus, according to them, it was an issue with the company that custom bent the pipes that has been rectified for any future customers.

Actually I believe Demon built his for around $300...though it doesn't follow the bends around the passenger cabin. However, it still looks fine from the pictures that I've seen.

That is correct and also the Brullen makes higher gains than the Bassani. It was Dyno proven for about 3 more HP. Of course many factors can contribute to dyno numbers, but these are back to back to back to back runs with consistent numbers. Also Brullen sounds sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo gooooooooooooooooooooood

oh and mine went on with out a singel fitment issue and if you also get the Equal Length'd Brullen Y-pipe, you can't beat the sound or performance. ABSOLUTLEY NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO RASP

Bassani made 7 HP more than stock at peak (more at some other points on curve). Brullen claims 10...HOWEVER, on their dynos they ran the Brullen to higher RPMs...with "stock" they quit several hundred RPM earlier, and the curve was still climing (so stock would probably have had a better number had they run it all the way). At the last data point where stock and Brullen could be compared the difference was.....7 HP. And the HP & T gains across the powerband were virtually superimposable. So I think power gains are the same...certainly when dyno error factored in. I do not buy the 3 HP more..
