so you have an intake and an exaust.... guess you still just a contour then too
which your comments just goes to she the I have an SVT nothing with a ford name can touch it unless it's got a V8 under the hood hell I would love to see you try and hang with some of the ZX3's around chicago and no they are not even SVT focus just you plain jane ZX3. but what am I saying that just couldn't happen cause it's just a little 2.0 it's isn't the SOOOOO MUCH LARGER 2.5L of the duratec and the SVT guys didn't touch it to give it their blessings... I really think 9 out of 10 SVT owners on here need a reality check
I would love to see someone with an SVT hang with an old Escort GT with the OLD 1.9L in it and a nice turbo and AWD that I see aorund my parents from time to time... well OK lets see a 3L turboed SVT keep up with him straight line or twistys your choice, and yeah it was blessed by cossworth
ok so a recap just baces your car says SVT doesn't mean another ford that you feel is a lesser being can't beat you. just because it has 1/2 L less than you doesn't mean there isn't a snowballs chance in hell it could come close or god forbid actually beat you. just face facts the Zetec has and always have 100 times better after market support over the duratec.
wow, you had to go on a rant about zetec's. go find the post where i said the CSVT is soo superior then all zetecs. then you go onto to say how fast a turbo awd car is. HOW THE F@$k can you compare the car to the CSVT. maybe you should start your own thread of how a awd turbo cosworth escort is faster then any CSVT

I own both and am not sure I have issues regarding this. I personally just had a goal to ensure the nay sayers understood this "escort" moves pretty good out of the box especially with the MTX. I liked mine good enough but got arid of it because
1. ATX 2. interior didn't suit my taste even after modifications. 3. my size 6'1" was little big for the headliner. 4. the rear end of my particular car would lose grip to easy in the snow even with good tires. 5. I went in for an oil change and came out with the 95se because of all the toys that the ZX@ didn't have. Like the v6, sunroof, and the MTX.
While I did have the car I raced my Mystique. My GF drove the ZX2 and I drove the Mystique and they were dead even through to the top of the 3rd gear on the Mystique. We stoped at that point. All in all its a nice Escort.

Why is it that when Zetec owners stick up for our engine that we have issues?

no kidding "SlowNfurious" claims to "not exactly be stock"....thus he thinks he's fast. while "ZetecRacer2.0" claims to be mostly stock and admits of losing to ZX2's???? After losing to an electric CIVIC HYBRID in the loaner zetec I had while my SVT was being fixed...It's hard to believe a stock zetec can beat very much.
