I recently picked up a JL "PowerWedge" (two 10's that fit up against the back seat in the trunk).

I want to run a strap across the unit to pull it tight against the seats. (The seats fold down so I want to keep it removable) I have some adjustable cargo straps that will do the job, but they need some sort of eye bolt to attach to.

Has anyone done this? Seems like drilling into the seats would be a bad idea, what about the wheel wells?

I did this using some door latches and some cargo straps. I removed the rear seat bottom and attached two latches to the sheet metal somewhat behind/under the rear seat bottom and two corresponding latches to the rear of the box. Then, I just used a couple of cargo straps to fasten the box in place. It's nearly invisible, and I can remove the box in less than a minute (fold down rear seats, unstrap, lift out).
