ok here is what happened i worked on the intake manifold all day and cleaned it out toucheed nothing but both the intakes and the spark plugs did have to move fuel rail but did not mess with it i ran the radio all day and drained the battery so when i got everything put back together had to get a jump well it didnt start i dont have the money to pay the shop a 1000 dollars to fix it the car turns over and acts like it is tryin to start but wont it sounds like the timing which i know is all electronic so could it be the ecu or what i did get it started once but i had to have a jump and hold the accelerator down and run the starter for like 30 seconds any suggestions would be very help because this is my only transportation also have not checked codes yet

I would put the car on a battery charger first. You need to have some power in the battery for the car to run. Next make sure you hooked the connector back up to the coil. Also make sure you hooked the wires back up in the correct order. On the coil 4,5, and 6 do not go in order like you think they should. I do have the order with me but it is in the manual you can get at any auto parts store. Let me know if this helps. I am having problems with mine also. It just quit running last night.

Do the comma, period, and shift keys not work on your keyboard? It would help if you could make proper sentences so it would be easier to understand you. Holding down the accelerator while you start the car tells the computer to cut off the injectors. You typically need to do this when you're flooded the car. You're saying that the only way it would start is when you did this? I've worked on my car for long periods of time with the stereo on and my battery doesn't die. One possibility is that the battery was on its last leg and when you drained it, it pretty much died completely. Just a guess, though.

I think the battery is fine because i just got it like a year ago. Alone the battery will turn the car over.

If I understand what you are saying, the car turns over now but won't start. (????) If you took the intake apart when you cleaned it, I would double check that all of the hoses and wire connectors got hooked back up correctly. If you removed the upper intake and/or throttle body, you may want to pull them back off and make sure the gaskets are OK. Make sure the fuel pump 'primes' when you first turn the key. (Reset cut off if not running...)

When you took apart the intake manifolds, did you replace the gaskets? I've been told its not a good idea to reuse them. Plus, new ones are pretty cheap, so its always a good idea just to replace them in case one is starting to go bad. Its possible that in reassembling the manifolds with the old gaskets that there's a vacuum leak that's preventing it from running.
