why don't you buy a can of r134 at walmart for like $11,
read the instructions, and fill it up yourself ?

if it's only a recharge, then it's that simple.
if you're the "do it right" kind of guy you might even
spend $5 more for a pressure gauge.

Shop here charged $15 for recharge and UV stuff added. Went back to find where leak was, and he refilled it for free. Then I pulled the a/c all out cuz it cost a lot to fix.

yep just bought the kit at walmart to charge the wife's 'stang...the kit to charge it(which is just a hose with some fittings)was like $9.95...and they had r134a for like 2 cans for $9...it is simple, you just connect the hose to the a/c port, and the other to the can and it fills it...very,very easy to do...
