Hi all I have a question. I have a 00 SVT and since it was new the interior trunk light stays on from the time I start my car to the time I turn off the ignition. With my car off the light comes on when the trunk is opened. Is this normal? I may be wiring it so that it only comes on when the trunk is opened.

If this is normal it seems odd that nobody has mentioned it before. When the armrest is down or one of the rear seats is down the distraction of the light shining through is very annoying.

This is a weird problem with all tours. Sometimes I expect the light on, and then sometimes I should expect it off. I had it stay on before, just like your story.
Its weird. What type of wiring short cicuit situation could cause this and how to figure it out(what to look at first to figure the problem out- any takers with back light in trunk).
