My car would not start because there wasn't enough power to crank it over.

So I tested the battery and it was good and concluded that it was the alternator. $250 later(the core box was thrown away and Fraud I mean Ford wouldn't accept the core without the original box it came in, thus eleminating the $75 core) and 10 hrs of hell later after installing my alternator , I found that my car was still having problems starting due to lack of power.

Well, I replaced the two battery terminal connectors and I was able to start the car.

Every once in a while it is still fussy.

Do I need to replace the battery wires now or does this sound like a short.

Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated.
Thanks

I tightend the battery terminal clamps, so that there was no play(the negative wire had a little play.)

I hope this will do the trick because my car was freaking out again today.
The clock was blinking off and on, the speedometer needle was going all over the place, my cd player was blinking off and on and I heard a clicking sound that sounded like there wasn't a continuous power flow.
