Hit a pot hole/big bump today, and it felt like something gave on the car. On closer inspection, whenever the engine torques itself, there is a kind of grinding noise that comes from the engine area. I can get it to do it when if I put it in drive (it's an ATX) and hold it still with the brake and give it gas. And of course it makes the noise when starting from a stop and when it shifts gears. So any ideas?
I'm thinking maybe a broken engine mount...though the car only has 46,000 miles.
