During highway driving last night I lost power momentary causing a slight loss of power. The RED Theft light came on solid for a few seconds indicating the ignition power was restored. Power returned quickly. Happened 3 times.

Where do I start to fix?

THANKS

The red light came on the THEFT package for 3-4 seconds when the engine loss ignition

Was the THEFT system causing the loss of ignition for the short period

Has anyone had trouble with the THEFT system?

This has happened 3 times during the end of a long trip 4 hours of highway driving @70 MPH 3000RPM

It was at night and headlights did not dim

Felt like a "jerk" then power resumed but security light came on

THANKS

Hey bud, I just had the same thing happen to me this afternoon. I was coasting in the right hand lane at about 60 mph when all of a sudden the security light came on and the power was pulsating for several seconds. This happened twice back to back and then everything was fine after that. It definately scared the crap out of me since it was rush hour on a major highway and there was no emergency lane to turn off onto. I just had my new superchip dyno tuned and so I thought that it was the culprit, but after reading this post it appears that I may have jumped the gun. Please update me if you find any solutions, I'm scheduling a meeting with my trusty mechanic first thing Monday. I'll get back to you and let you know what we discover.
