I was thinking of buying some eibach springs for my tour (80,000 miles) but i was wondering if i have to buy struts too or can i get away with just the springs. A bunch of people have told me that i don't need the struts, but i wanted to ask you guys. Also, how much to have springs installed?

Well with 80K on your struts now it would be a good idea to replace them.

OK, let me reiterate. He wants to lower his car a bit on Eibachs using stock struts. He asked if it would be a good idea. If youre running stock springs with stock struts drive til they fall off, but I wouldnt recommend lowering it any with stock struts, probably wouldnt last very long at all if the struts already have that many miles on them.

Yeah, I know. I was just saying that I have my orginal set-up. Actually, when I get Eibachs, I'm going to run them on Hector's OEM struts w/30K on them.
