I am one of the lucky SVT owners who has had to go through the pleasure of the lubrication problem of the duratec and the recipient of a 3.0L swap in turn. (Thank you SHO shop). I have recently had my engine (2.5L) blue printed to find the exact problem because FORD MTR. said I blew my pistons and that was the knocking sound. SO, $$$$ and time later. The report is that I spun all of my connecting rod bearings and not blown any pistons. I've been busy with a off and on lawsuit with FORD and FORD ESP. All i'm looking for is confirmation that there are others out there that have had this problem and FORD has denied the problem or were willing to repair it. In my case they tried to tell me that my diablo chip is why the pistons went bad when that is not even the problem. I could really use the help to FURTHER show this is/was a recurring problem.
Thanks ALL... Mark
