my car started making a clicking noise that speeds up in proportion to rpms yesterday. i was checking things out this afternoon and found that when i pulled the throttle the a/c compressor pully would stop spinning entirely above 2000 or so rpms, and the clicking would stop. my thought is that either the bearing in the pully or the compresssor clutch have burnt out. anyone dealt with something like this before?
