I will be getting my amp/sub soon and I'm just curious about the antenna wiring. Can I splice the antenna wire from the HU, have one part go into the harness, the other part go to the amp? Or does it all just go to the amp?

Thanks

You'd want the remote wire going to the amp, or the amp would only turn on when the deck is set to tuner.

The only thing you connect from the receiver to the amp is RCA cables, and the remote wire. The antenna has nothing to do with the amplifier. The signal from the receiver travels through the RCA cables into the amplifer where the RMS is boosted, and the signal is refined.

Yes my mistake, I had read some stuff incorrectly.
So no splicing or anything, just crimp and run the wiring to the amp.
Thnx guys
