I was driving home from a friends house when my car decided to die. I noticed that the first thing that happened was that my battery light was flashing, then the rpm's dropped to zero and so did the mph. After that the airbag light came on and so did the fuel light(full tank). Then my stereo decided to give me a light show by turning on and off. While this commotion is accuring my car is barely moving as if my plugs aren't getting any juice. Then to top things off after it died it makes a clicking noise when I try to start it. Any information will be helpful.

Bad battery, alternator, or volage regulator in the alt all sound like possible culprits to me.

EDIT: Actually, the "clicking noise" when trying to start is a dead battery. Starter solenoid clicks over, but not enough juice is available to turn it. Still could be bad alt didn't charge the battery.

Check that battery first. The original batteries in these cars have been down to die suddenly and without warning, and when they're dead, they're completely dead - won't hold a charge at all.

When my battery died, my car reacted the exact same way as yours. I replaced the battery with a DieHard, and the car was as good as new again.

At first I thought I had a massive electrical short, but it wasn't - just a stupid dead battery.
