This was the second time my moonroof was stuck in the vertical positon.. only this time after I smacked the housing over the control it didnt work. So I took the vehicle into Ford. The mechanic mentioned I will need a new motor for it. Price for part and labour.. upwards of $600 CDN. This seems a little steep to have a working moonroof. Has this happened to anyone else here?

Marky.. Thats exactly what im going to do. Once I looked at the quote I just asked them to close the thing and payed the $60 labour and left. Funny thing is I know it will work sliding open and shut.. I just dont want to take that chance anymore.
