There hasn't been a lot of response or confirmation here, but we're still doing this... even if it's just me and J-Lab and phd2be, if there are any "maybes" or stragglers, please send me a PM and we'll follow up there. I realize the timing isn't great, but this is the only weekend that Jeff and I can do it in the foreseeable future. We might try for another one in October, but the weather is always a a crapshoot this far north. Thanks, contour.org!

Sorry guys, Wendy and I won't be making it. She's getting over a somewhat nasty cold, and guess what I got her cold too! Fancy that!

it is such a good idea to have a meet in Vermont but this weekend is difficult for me. It was so nice to meet all of you in Montreal three weeks ago.
The pics you posted of the meet are great. Being a computer guru, would you mind telling me how I can save them on my PC??

I love Vermont and feel bad to miss this opportunity to drive through northern Vermont. Peter if can PM your cell # and if I can manage some last minute changes, maybe just maybe I can show up.

Thanks for your offer of hospitality- so generous of you.

Vermont is a peace of heaven in October.

Brief follow-up... we had our little "meet" but it might be better qualified as a small gathering. 3 cars (mine, J-Lab, and phd2be) met in Swanton VT, cruised over the mountains of VT and ended up at my house in the Burlington VT area where we were joined by none other than Micah himself (pre-98 SVT bumper guy) for an evening of BBQ, billiards, and general stupidity. Though we wished more could have joined, the summer is always tough to get critical mass in VT, but a good time was had by all. We are already planning the next similar meet, and the date we are shooting for is the first weekend in October (Sat 10/4 - Sun 10/5) as it works for us and it shouldn't interfere too badly with American or Canadian holidays. New posts will appear as that date approaches, but if this works for you at all, keep this weekend in mind for a VT-based gathering. The weather has been closer to "normal" than last year so that should also be in the midst of our prime foliage-scenery cruising season! PM me in the meantime if you want direct updates. Happy Motoring to all!

Let me offer once again major thanks (or, as you kids would say, "mad props" ) to J-Lab for fixing my Mustang stereo. We pulled out the head unit and yards of wiring/harnesses, he found the errant connection, adjusted the wires, fixed the connector pins, and put it all back together. Now my $800 Mustang stereo sounds as good (granted, not as powerful) as the Mach 460 system - wonderful imaging. I'd gotten used to everything being over on the right side, and wasn't sure what to do about it. I haven't been able to drive the car all week due to the $hi++y weather up here, but I've spent a couple hours in the garage since, admiring my car and just sitting in it listening to the stereo... Jeff, you the man! Looking forward to getting together again in October.
