Thanks for the comments guys. Can't wait to get her painted. Still undecided on the color but I know it will have 2 black racing strips at least over the hood, maybe going down the hole car. But I'll be sure to post pics on her progress.
Definitely get those pics. I love the hood. Awesome project car you've got there!

man, nice looking car. i'm looking for something along those lines to put the 365hp 460 from my 1969 Lincoln Continental into. i might have missed it, but what are you running? i wonder if the 460 will fit in the SVT???

302 V8, 4 barrell edlebrock 500 series carb, holly street dominator intake manifold, msd ignition, bored .20 over (now upto the BOSS 302 specs), holley headers, flowmaster mufflers, 3 speed atx with B&M Rachet shifter, traction bars....that's about all I can think of right now...it's deffinately the loudest car I have ever heard in my life!! No kidding...right now there are no tail pipes after the mufflers (will be fixing with a new flowmaster exhaust kit soon). I set of car alarms half way down my street! the neighbours hate me.... Regarding the BOSS stripes someone mentioned, that would be like putting an SVT badge on an SE...I can't do that to the BOSS!  Just wouldn't be right...but then that's just me  Hey Roger...what did you mean about upgrading the drivetrain?, like what kind of drivetrain? send me a PM if you can with any info on that as I'm very new to the old school car scene, thanks!

It was me who mentioned BOSS stripes. If you don't wanna put those on, then why not go with original color/ stripes on it? My Camaro has original bumblebee stripe across the hood... but that's the actual original paint -Tavis

Hey Travis,
The original color was blue, no stripes. I think I'm gonna go for the gt500/eleanor look, two stripes over center of car, each lower side of car has the striping but instead of where it would normally say GT500, have just 302. Thinking like a dark silver color.
Your SS sounds sweet by the way!

I wish I could get the kit but it's for 67-68 Fastbacks/Coupes only. I have the 70 coupe. Different body style so it won't fit
