I had my car in for a transmission change here a little while ago, and when I got it back the traction control was disabled, as in the light on the dash is constantly on. I took it back and they said they checked everything and that what they did was fine. They said it must have something to do with the used tranny I had them put it in, and then they said it was on when they got it. Any thoughts on this, could I have blown a switch? The speedo went out at the same time, as did the little coil wire thingy in the steering column. Any help would be appreciated. Oh and one other thing, my drivers seat won't go down in the back, it moves forward and rear fine, and the front of the seat goes up and down, its just the back that is stuck way up in the air.

Thanks

Sounds like the VSS (speed sensor) if you have no speedo etc, assume this is a slush box( no details re engine size, trans type etc?)
