Hey all -

After getting a repeating CEL (P0442) I wanted to try and see if a putting a new gas cap on would solve the problem. Went to Autozone and they clerk didn't want to sell me a gas cap b/c his computer showed that the SVT gas cap was not the same as the non-SVT model 'tours.

Is there any difference between the gas caps of SVT and non-SVT Contours (different pressures)? Or is the Autozone computer full of crap?

There is no difference - it is the same part.
