whats up everybody, went to Autozone yesterday with a CEL on my dash, did the diagnostics and found out my CGR valve is bad. I just wanted to make sure that regular V6 CGR valve is the same as my SVT. since they didnt have any SVT specific parts listed.

Before you replace this, make sure it is bad. Check that you have vacuum going to the valve, and check that the galleys in the throtle body and the intake maniflod to the valve are open, they tend to gunk up at 80,000+ miles.

Im pretty sure it is bad, the diagnostics said "EGR valve flow excessive"

You might want to try cleaning EGR valve first, in case it's just sticking partially open, before considering replacement.
