In the next couple of weeks I plan on tinting out the contour. I live in NJ where it is illegal to have any tint what so ever on the front windows, but you can have anything on the back. What percent tint do people reccommend having in the front if I want some darkness but do not want to draw the attention of the po-lice? Also, I have noticed in other peoples cars that really dark tints in the back cause some visibility problems at night. Any suggestions on what percent would work for me all around, or would work with different tints on the back/front? thanks for the info in advance.

I have 5% Limo on all 5 windows.. it is illegal here in michigan to have anything under (correct me if I am wrong) 35% I believe... I have yet to be messed with by police (knock on wood) I don't drive with my windows all the way up though.. halfway down all the time... and usually if I know I am driving by an officer I will roll them down.. all they really care about is to be able to see you in there. 5% on the back 3 is a good way to go.. it is a little difficult to see at night.. but you will get used to it in no time.. and it looks SOOO good on a black SVT

NJ is a strange state. I see tinted cars over there with tint and hear they have no problems. Other people get busted for even light tint. You might want to post in the "Northeast" section to get the attention of a fellow "NJer". If you want the front sides done, I wouldn't go any darker than 30% even though it isn't really dark.
