I already have a few poon magnets..

The high-revving nature of the rotary is what has me concerned about the RX-8. But if it does the job for me, then the SRT is a distant memory. But if it feels like it's lacking power, the SRT could become a reality. Or even an Evo.

(Even though the mature part of me thinks I should spend the money on a used luxury car, like an XK8 or something)

Cartman, if you are torn b/w the SRT-4, RX-8 and an EVO, take the EVO, i would drop my SVT in a minute for that car

no offence, but the car isn't what gets the poon anyway.

Totally sold out for a 90 GT vert.... 1/4 mile is almost the same as my modded svt w/n2o was...

Here's the thing.. $24K gets you a 300HP FWD SRT-4. $31K gets you a 271HP AWD Evo. Evo also has sky high insurance, and a pretty brutal suspension. (I'd be daily driving the car, so the suspension is something to consider) I'm considering the SRT because it's $7K less, cheaper to insure, and probably faster since power's not being sapped by the AWD. But I do like the AWD factor for the winters we get here. And neither one is too stellar interior-wise. See my dilemna?

The RX-8 just OOZES sex appeal. I fell in love with it when I saw it at the auto show. If it drives as good as it looks, I'm sold. My only issue then would be which color, red or silver?

My parents think I'm retarded, and like the used luxury car idea, especially since used car prices are at an all-time low. There's something nice about driving a $70K car, even if it only cost me $32K.

silver, silver would be nice, you should try to pick up a 1953 Jag, that's an a$$ getting machine, might be a bit pricey too

I'm not talking THAT old, I'm talking semi-old but still rock-solid reliable.. Maybe a 97 XK8, a 98-99 GS400 or SC400, or something in that realm.

My Boxster is already an a$$ machine, so that's not the motive behind this purchase. This is more of an enjoyable daily driver, with some semblance of power behind it.

Or, I could just go nuts and get this:
