i recently had the motor replaced in my 95 'tour (2.5 MTX) b a less than reputable dealership. when i recieved the car back i drove approx. 5 miles before it overheated, i managed to get back to the dealership to have them find the forgot to tighten the battery hold down and it fell into the cooling fan, burning up the cooling fan motor, the fixed the problem. now the fans dont work properl, when the do come on, they come on together for about 5 seconds and shut off, repeatedly cycling like this. also ever time they come on, the gauges and the radio shut down for a few seconds and come back slowly. also the battery will not hold a charge more than a week. before completely loosing its charge, and needing to be recharged. these problems also occur whenever the A/C is used.......any suggestions would be greatl appreciated,

thanks, mike

How long ago was it fixed? Take it back and make them fix it right. If it worked right before the repair and you paid for it to work right via the repair. I don't see how they can't be held acountable. Especialy if they were ignorant enough to forget to retighten the battery tie down. eek

i would but these are the same people who reattached the steering wheel upon completion of the motor job and left it upside down.....the service manager swore to me the car was test drove before i pointed the wheel out to him....when he saw the wheel he turned red, and got the mechanic back on the job to fix it....they are very incompetent and i would be afraid what problems i would have when i would get the car back if i took it to them.

thanks, mike
