Actually, I think Diablo had that announcement about a forthcoming chip-reprogrammer up there more than a year ago. But maybe it's closer now. I like that they have a book on how to tune Fords.

I checked out the performance places around here. All of them said they've had quite a few contours in there but they all have the same problems whether it be with the computer or with a remote start system. I've had this superchip for about 3 months and still can't get it working. Has anyone had to do anything special to theirs to get it working correctly??

Did you get the chip programmed to your computer's code? If so, are you absolutely sure the computer has never been reflashed? My superchip works great.

also did you send the computer to superchips so they could add a resistor to the computer so the chip would work?

Even if you don't have the answer, you certainly have to admire the problem.

My car didn't require a resistor.

yeah, i had the jumpers soldered onto the computer already...and there is a sticker on the back of the chip too.....however....the sticker on the back matches the code on the computer it's DUB1...but the sticker on the chip says DUB1-RS.....is that a problem?? and i'm not sure if the computer has ever been reflashed, how would i find out if it has been?
