Ok. So I just installed a used 98 motor with 47xxx miles on it. Then I bought a used transmission with 37xxx miles. Plus I just bought a brand new Grizzly Clutch. To make a short story long.... I have no power when I give it gas. My RPMS keep going higher and higher and I get no where. I had a mechanic look at it and he said it wasnt the clutch. My 3rd gear syncro is bad so I'm getting a new transmission. Also I hear a small air leak type thing on the driver side when I drive. Am I making sense?!?!? I'm not car smart at all and I dont know what is wrong.
Plus the car starts to over heat cause that air leak sound sort of sounds/feels like I'm dragging something... So that's why it seems to be close to overheating. Anybody? Where are the Contour Mechanics at?
