I want to remove the orange reflectors in my headlights. is there any way possible to do this without taking the lens off of the headlight? I think it would look so much better without them.

there is a how-to somewhere that i followed. basically, you drill out the tabs that hold the reflector in, crunch it up inside the light, and pull out the pieces through the turn signal. then you seal up where you drilled and you're finished. now let me see if i can find that how-to......

All that drilling isn't neccessary.....Just take off the light, remove the bulbs, and take a very long screwdriver with the end taped up heavily, and pop out the reflectors, then crunch them up. That is exaclty what I did, and it took about 5 minutes.

i attempted that as well, those flaps are glued/melted on the headlight housing, they don't "just" pop-off... for some i guess it did. I had to drill... all in all about 45 minutes each lamp. Good Luck...

That is a good way to scratch up the reflective coating inside your housing. It also sounds like you got a set that the reflectors were not molded in very well. Mine were in there, and there was no way just taking a screwdriver would have gotten them out. I would be most concerned about the scratches though.

I wonder what the parking lights would look like after this. Any pics?
