Need some help making a choice between my contour svt or evo 8. Should i spend my money on a turbo kit for my svt or buy the evo 8. I would love to have a mid 12sec daily driven car that handles like its on rails.

the evo is a nice car... but aesthetically the SVT takes it.. I personally would get a street flight in the SVT.. handling is better and it is just a better ride IMO good luck.. make the right choice and make us here proud!

evo, trust me, evo. the looks will grow on you, if they don't then you will have the priviledge of showing everyone how fast an ugly car is. i drove my buddies and he has intake, exhaust and some other minor engine work done to it, it's fast. IMO it handles better than my SVT too being AWD. again, evo

subura STi or mazda rx7 or infiniti g35 are all on my list before an ugly EVO. Granted the EVO is fast, the STi matches or beats the EVO's performance (depends on the driver's skills). Somebody also posted here about a new VW coming, like a top of the line Golf called the R32 which with better tires would be right around same performance as an EVO. The R32 has a N/A V6.

doesn't run mid 12's.
buy something thats fast already, that way you don't have to blow tons of $$
like a Grand National, do a swap in a civic like meeeee and run 12s for under 10 grand.. TOTAL including car or buy a bike.
